Description: May temporarily prevent the use of a particular move
Possibly Used: To block Pokemon's special abilities during the battle at the end of Mewtwo Strikes Back

Barrier - Psychic - Level 11
Description: Psychic shield that raises defense
Possibly Used: To block attacks from the Pokemon at Giovanni's gym, the chosen trainers' Pokemon, Mew, and maybe even Ash

Mist - Ice - Level 22
Description: Creates a mist that temporarily blocks stat-altering moves

Swift - Normal - Level 33
Description: A fast attack that always hits
Possibly Used: Mentioned several times in Birth of Mewtwo CD Drama (called "Speed Star")

Recover - Normal - Level 44
Description: Allows Mewtwo to instantly recover half of his maximum hit points
Possibly Used: Mewtwo dies but regenerates himself in the Birth of Mewtwo CD Drama after being attacked by the lab's computer security system. Also, after being defeated by a Magmar in the Drama, Mewtwo regenerates himself again.

Description: Veil that temporarily prevents status changes (sleep, poison, etc.)

Description: Psychic attack (May lower special defense)

Description: An attack whose power and type depends on Mewtwo's stats
Possibly Used: --

Sunny Day - Fire - TM 11
Description: Begins temporarily strong sunlight that strengthens fire type moves, weakens water type moves, and increases the speed of Solarbeam
Possibly Used: When Mewtwo alters the weather (maybe when the storm that is dangerously blowing around the Meowth Ballon stops, and Mewtwo says, "The storm is over...for now.")

Taunt - Dark - TM 12
Description: Taunts the opponent and, if Mewtwo is attacked during the next two turns, the opponent is damaged

Description: Stops opponent's attacks from hitting (success rate decreases as it is used)
Possibly Used: To block attacks from the Pokemon at Giovanni's gym, the chosen trainers' Pokemon, Mew, and maybe even Ash

Rain Dance - Water - TM 18
Description: Begins temporary rainstorm that strengthens water-type moves, weakens fire-type moves, and raises accuracy of Thunder
Possibly Used: When Mewtwo alters the weather, particularly when he creates the storm with which he plans to wipe out all life on Earth
